Location: Our destinations on this expedition included several beautiful areas of southern Missouri including Amedon Conservation Area (pictured left) as well as Pickle Springs. |
We arrived at the campsite late Friday night were we had a relaxing dinner. Upon waking we were greeted with fire warmed bagels and hot beverages as well as some instruction and discussion on art related topics. |

After everyone was packed up we journeyed to Pickle Springs where we spent the morning hiking and taking photographs. The area had some very unique rock formations and the fall colors truly made for a beautiful setting. |
In the afternoon the focus turned to drawing and painting as artist Stuart Morse instructs a visioning session. |

Perched upon a large boulder in the middle of the stream, participants worked on creatively seeing, documenting and communicating with drawing and painting. | |
