On the Trail in Missouri. Started in 2000 Art Expeditions began to travel the route of Lewis and Clark. Our team of Art Explorers (Our family) set out to capture and document the different communities and landscapes along the route. Goals:
The following are selections from our adventures in Missouri with this
project. |

Notes: Our journey began at the mouth of the
Missouri River on the Mighty Mississippi. We found the Missouri
landscape, with its bluffs and Ozark style rolling hills, very capable at
hiding the river from our view. This was a positive attribute, for it
honed our skills and peeked our curiosity to explore into the small elusive
communities and towns that hold their roots along the river. These
intimate venues were like Easter eggs nestled quietly in tall grass. A
step back in time. Every town gleamed with character, stories and
history.
