On the Trail in North Dakota. Started in 2000 Art Expeditions began to travel the route of Lewis and Clark. Our team of Art Explorers (Our family) set out to capture and document the different communities and landscapes along the route. Goals:
The following are selections from our adventures in North Dakota with this
project. |

Notes: Our journey began at the mouth of the
Missouri River on the Mighty Mississippi. After the Missouri,
Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota landscapes we were surprised by the
change in North Dakota. We encountered more angular rolling hills and
buttes. It also seemed to have a number of trees in the ravines and in
the small lakes. Different than South Dakota, North Dakota landscape
changes go upward. a prime example of this is the buttes.
