 On the Trail in Idaho.
Started in 2000 Art Expeditions began to travel the route of Lewis and Clark.  Our team of Art Explorers (Our family) set out to capture and document the different communities and landscapes along the route.

Goals:

  • Discover the communities and environments along the route of Lewis and Clark.
  • Capture images for the paintings and photographs for the exhibits.
  • Explore the destinations for the Lewis & Clark Art Expeditions community projects.
  • Connect our family to history and its significance.
  • Have Fun! 

The following are selections from our adventures in Idaho with this project.

Notes:  Our journey began at the mouth of the Missouri River on the Mighty Mississippi.  After the Missouri,  Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota and Montana landscapes we have entered the Bitteroot Mountains.  This is a wild and natural place.  We now can understand the difficulty that Lewis and Clark had in getting over this obstacle.
