 On the Trail in Oregon.
Started in 2000, Art Expeditions began to travel the route of Lewis and Clark.  Our team of Art Explorers (Our family) set out to capture and document the different communities and landscapes along the route.

Goals:

  • Discover the communities and environments along the route of Lewis and Clark.
  • Capture images for the paintings and photographs for the exhibits.
  • Explore the destinations for the Lewis & Clark Art Expeditions community projects.
  • Connect our family to history and its significance.
  • Have Fun! 

The following are selections from our adventures in Oregon with this project.

Notes:  Our journey began at the mouth of the Missouri River on the Mighty Mississippi.  After the Missouri,  Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, and eastern Washington landscapes we have connected with Oregon.  It takes on the same the vast desert like aspects of the Eastern part of Washington.  This later changes to its the fertile Columbia River Grorge, waterfalls and then coastline.
